Costume Rentals Make For Fun Kid’s Birthday Party

Much of the fun of visiting a place like Disneyland is getting to meet your favorite storybook characters; at least, that is how young children. It is a bit like how kids love Halloween because they get to dress up as a monster or zombie or princess or a zombie princess or their favorite cartoon character, etc.

And this is a big reason why costume rentals in Toronto are an easy sell for children’s birthday parties.  Kids are always using their imaginations to help them understand the world and to make fun out of just about anything; by introducing costumes to a simple birthday party, then, it lets them turn a regular Saturday morning into some far more magical!

PRINCESS PARTY THEME COSTUMES

Little girls—and maybe little boys too—like the idea of living like a princess.  Or maybe they want to be a prince. Perhaps they want to rule the kingdom or slay the dragon as a valiant knight.  Fairy tales are a common theme for children’s parties—particularly for girls—and with Disney movies still very popular there is no reason to think this would ever change; at least not any time soon.

Favorite Licensed character costume might include:

  • Ariel or Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid
  • Cinderella
  • Elsa and Ana or Olaf and Kristoff from Frozen
  • Rapunzel or Flynn Rider from Tangled
  • Snow White

This makes a princess party an obvious option for many children.  They can dress up as their favorite storybook characters or take a stock of costumes and mix and match the pieces to make up their own characters.  The only limit, of course, is the imagination!

SUPER HERO PARTY THEME COSTUMES

Of course, not every child is going to want a princess party.  Perhaps she has outgrown it—or just never took an interest—or perhaps this is a boy who prefers more action-packed stories. For these children, then, consider a super hero party theme.  Much like the princess party, the super hero party would involve various costumes like capes and masks and utility belts. Children could dress up as their favorite character or, again, mix and match pieces to use their imagination and invent their own super hero.  Consider, of course:

  • Superman
  • Wonder Woman
  • Spider-Man
  • Wolverine
